Amended Statewide Agreement of Sale

The new Agreement of Sale for Delaware Residential Property is approved, ready for use and accessible through the NCCBOR website (members must log in) and both the dotloop and zipForms libraries. The previous form should be phased out by August 1.

Buyer / Seller Dispute Resolution Program

Did you know that NCCBOR no longer offers the BBB Buyer /Seller Dispute Resolution Program? This program was eliminated in December 2011. In Paragraph 31 of the State-wide Agreement of Sale, mark NO next to Buyer-Seller Dispute Resolution, there is no addendum. If you are a NCCBOR member and you have two parties that are interested in going to mediation, NCCBOR can arrange for a non-binding mediation session.

Installation of Officers and Directors - Jan 5

Overlooking the picturesque fairways, the 2017 Officers and Directors of the New Castle County Board of REALTORS® (NCCBOR) took the Oath of Office in front of a crowd of volunteer leaders, supporters and family. 2016 President, Bayard Williams - RE/MAX Town & Country made farewell remarks before administering the Oath of Office to 2017 President Mia Burch - Long & Foster Real Estate Inc. Mr. Williams then became the Immediate Past President of the organization. Once in office, Mia then administered the Oath of Office for Anthony Klemanski, President-elect - Berkshire Hathaway Home Services, RT Christopher, Vice President - Long & Foster Real Estate Inc., Kimberly Davis, Treasurer - Innovative Realty Solutions and Gail Renulfi - Berkshire Hathaway Home Service, as the President’s Executive Committee Appointment as per NCCBOR’s by-Law.

In addition to the Officers, the Directors took the Oath; to represent the best interests of the Delaware real estate community and the members of NCCBOR; and to be governed by the principles of honesty, justice and fair play above all self-interests. The following Directors took part: Brian F. Funk, Esq. Brian Frederick Funk, P.A., Elisa Morris, Ward & Taylor, LLC, Denise Forman-Gaines, Century 21 Gold Key Realty, Scott Deputy - Long & Foster Real Estate Inc., Maximo Rodriguez - Patterson-Schwartz & Associates, Neil Douen - PRS Real Estate Group, Brian George - Berkshire Hathaway HS, Michael Haritos - Keller Williams Realty, Kathy Pennington - RE/MAX Associates & Carl Wahlig - RE/MAX Sunvest Realty.

Competitive Market Analysis ("CMA")

In a recent newsletter the term "listing" was substituted for signed Agreement of Sale. Licensees may perform a competitive market analysis as part of providing real estate services. However, a licensee shall not perform a competitive market analysis for the mortgagee on a property that is the subject of a signed agreement of sale. Read the details HERE>
