Maximize your real estate career!
Why get involved?
Active participation in your Board transforms you from being just an agent to a REALTOR®. You subscribe to a higher standard of ethics than a licensee, differentiate yourself from others in the industry through your professionalism, and enhance your depth of knowledge in state and local real estate issues.
Free CE classes are available for each Delaware license renewal period. NCCBOR offers continuing education modules to satisfy DREC continuing education requirements and locally manages NAR requirements such as the NAR Biennial Ethics requirement.
Leadership and Governance Opportunities
Involvement with NCCBOR gives members opportunities to grow professionally. NCCBOR leadership training is available for all volunteer leaders.
Supra Lockbox Key
Members have access to Supra lockboxes and to other regional Boards that use Supra lockboxes with no additional charge (active license required in these areas).
The Public Policy Committee is tasked with helping to protect property rights and promote home ownership for the public. Through advocacy at the local, state, and national levels, and with the help of the REALTOR® Political Action Committee (RPAC), we strive to do business in a responsible but less restrictive environment and to protect ourselves from barriers that affect our careers.
Code of Ethics, Mediation, and Arbitration
The Professional Standards Committees can provide timely and cost-effective resolutions as alternatives to costly litigation.
Members are invited to many free or low-cost events that are not only informative but also provide opportunities to socialize, share ideas, and develop positive relationships with peers and members of the community.
Our mobile-friendly weekly newsletter keeps you informed of what changes in the real estate industry mean to you and your business. It's everything you need to know in one place.
Affiliate members are providers of real estate support services (attorneys, home inspectors, lenders, etc.) that help you enhance your business and better serve your customers.
Network and engage with businesses that have an interest in real estate.
Advertise your business-related offerings and events to NCCBOR members via eBlasts and website advertising.
At our annual Awards Ceremony, we acknowledge NCCBOR members' hard work and dedication to their profession and their communities.
A team of dedicated, service-focused professionals are available to assist members with all benefits of membership. They work to educate, inform, and support members' success.
Members have opportunities to get involved in socially-conscious programs in their local communities.
The Delaware Housing Opportunity Fund, Inc. (DEHOFI) is a non-profit that provides repairs for elderly and veteran homeowners in our area. DEHOFI makes home safe for qualified and vetted recipients. Check DEHousingFund.com for more information.
