New to the business or thinking about becoming a real estate agent? Then you most likely have a few questions. Below are answers to some of the most frequently asked questions we receive.

 

 

HOW DO I GET A REAL ESTATE LICENSE?

To find out how to become a Real Estate agent in the state of Delaware, please refer to the Real Estate Commissions Website.

 

IF I JUST PASSED THE REAL ESTATE EXAM, CAN I JOIN THE ASSOCIATION AND/OR THE MLS?

Yes, you can join the New Castle County Board of REALTORS® if you are currently sponsored by a Broker and have documents supporting proof of sponsorship.

 

HOW MUCH ARE DUES?

The dues you pay are based on your level of membership with our Association (Primary member, Secondary member, MLS-Only, and Affiliate), and the date you join during the fiscal calendars for state, local and NAR. Please call the office for more information.

 

WHEN ARE ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP DUES, DUE?

WHEN IS NEW MEMBER ORIENTATION?

New Member Orientation for REALTORS® is held once every other Month. All information regarding New Member Orientation can be found HERE. You will be automatically enrolled for the next available class after you have submitted all the necessary membership paperwork.

 

HOW DO I GET A KEYCARD OR LOCK BOX?

Only licensed real estate members who belong to the association may subscribe to the Supra lockbox system.  When you become a member, you have the opportunity to join Supra.  The "key" portion of your membership is billed through Supra directly.

HOW DO I GET ACCESS TO ZIP FORM AND/OR TRANSACTION DESK?

Please visit the Delaware Association of REALTORS®  for all Zip Form related questions. We no longer have access to hold these forms on our website.

 

HOW DO I GET INVOLVED IN NCCBOR COMMITTEES?

We treasure our committee volunteers and we encourage you to get involved in any way possible.  Every year we release a Call to Committee Service notice to the members seeking committee volunteers for a variety of open positions.  Be watching for these notifications, we would love to have you join!
