Real Estate Appraisal Licensing Course
The New Castle County Board of REALTORS offers appraisal educational hours to assist you in becoming an appraiser trainee. You will learn from instructors who have more than 20 years of experience in real estate appraising.
Delaware Licensing Requirements
You must complete 75 hours of qualifying education before submitting an application for Council approval. Submit photocopies of certificates of completion for qualifying education courses with the application form.
Submit completed, signed and notarized application form.
Submit pro-rated processing fee. Make check or money order payable to “State of Delaware.” This processing fee is non-refundable.
A sponsor (supervisor of trainee) must complete a Verification of Appraiser Trainee Supervision form stating that he/she will be supervising you.
There is no experience or examination requirement.
